Hi there! We're so happy you are interested in Word of Life. We are gathering both in-person and online. However you choose to join us for church, we'd love to get to know you. 

 

What to Expect
What is worship like?

We aim to guide individuals toward a transformative connection with God, and our worship services are a reflection of this goal. Our worship sessions commence with a blend of contemporary music, occasional hymns, and new arrangements, followed by prayer.

What should I wear?

The Lord values the heart over outward appearance, and we follow suit. Our congregation embraces a diverse range of attire, from casual jeans to more formal outfits. Our goal is to dress modestly, shifting the focus away from ourselves and directing it solely towards Jesus Christ.

Where should I park?

If you are visiting for the first time, we have a special spot waiting just for you! First Time Guest Parking is conveniently located near the church building. Additionally, handicapped parking is provided along the front row.

What are the worship times?

We gather on Sundays at 10:30am at 1635 Bankhead Hwy Carrollton, GA 30116. We also provide online worship at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW7X9-mUXaqjXnJQHldstxQ/live

Is there a place for my kids?

Life kids is available for ages 5-12 and our nursery ages 0-5 is equipped with hand picked staff for babies and toddlers. 

What about older students?

At this time we are looking to add classes on Wednesday nights for our middle and high school students. Please stay tuned for more information coming soon.

Weekly Discipleship
  • We have weekly church service take place every Sunday at 10:30am and Wednesday at 7:00pm. (online - Youtube Live and Facebook Live)
  • Multiple small groups that meet throughout the month. 
  • Be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for daily encouraging and uplifting posts. 
Who We Are
Word Of Life is a gathering of people tasked by God with a vision. We want to be a life-giving movement of disciples that impact our Community, the surrounding area, and the world with the Gospel of Jesus. We have a straightforward purpose and mission: to "Be About The Father Business Holding Forth The Word of Life." We believe our purpose and mission will help us fulfill our vision of  Loving God and Loving People, allowing our lives to testify to our hope in Christ. Our ultimate goal is to see every believer discipled and devoted to Christ, dedicated to reaching those outside of God's family with the Gospel, and passionate about the fact that life can be Radically Different through the Holy Spirit. 
We gather together every Sunday at 10:30 am for Worship and the Word, where we experience the love of Jesus and respond in Worship to the Good News of the Gospel. We come together in Life Groups, where we learn to live and experience the promise of abundant life through Jesus. We also come together in Discipleship Groups, where we grow more like Jesus, becoming disciples and making disciples, sharing the hope of Jesus in a world dark and mired in hopelessness.
We are on a lifelong spiritual journey together to become more like Jesus. This is all made possible by the commitment of everyone who calls Word of Life home and gives their time, talents, and treasures to make known the promise of Jesus!
